UK parcel delivery company Evri announced it is recruiting 2,500 roles nationwide amid a period of “phenomenal growth”.
It comes after a 12% increase in parcel volume, with 425 million parcels delivered in the half-year ending 30 August.
The news also follows Evri’s merger with DHL eCommerce UK and the acquisitions of Coll-8 and UK Mail.
The combined Evri group brings together a team of over 30,000 couriers and van drivers, 12,000 members of staff and a fleet of 8,000 vehicles.
Evri is recruiting for 2,500 roles across head office corporate functions, couriers, depot and hub roles, and Evri Premium roles. DHL eCommerce UK will become Evri Premium in 2026.
“We continue to deliver phenomenal growth at Evri, and none more so than within our hard-working courier network, who are truly the backbone of our business,” commented Martijn de Lange, CEO, Evri Group.
“At a time when many companies are reducing headcount and unemployment is growing, we’re proud to be creating thousands of opportunities and leading the way with initiatives like Evri Plus,” he added.
