The cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), IAG Cargo, has approved SkyCell’s temperature-controlled 1500X series containers for use on its network.
IAG Cargo stated that it can now provide pharmaceutical customers with enhanced options for highly advanced and sustainable packaging to utilise.
This ensures the integrity of temperature-sensitive shipments such as vaccines and biologics.
The SkyCell 1500X series offers up to 270 hours of independent runtime, which can be further extended when placed in a cold room or reefers truck.
The added protection ensures that cold ensuring cold chain protection even in the face of extreme weather or unexpected delays.
