The development has been designed to achieve an EPC ‘A+’ rating and net zero carbon, with a minimum BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and the potential to secure an ‘Outstanding’ outcome.
In addition to the warehouse accommodation, the scheme includes Grade A office space with a green roof, alongside an external amenity and break-out area located within the yard.
Kier property head of industrial and logistics, Darren Cheeseman, said: “Reaching Practical Completion at Logistics City is a significant milestone for the business and delivering this scheme in line with our business plan keeps us firmly on track and demonstrates our ability to deliver high-quality, sustainable industrial assets at scale.”
