Natasha Fry, head of sales at Mer UK – Fleet & Workplace, will share her insights into fleet and depot electrification at this year’s Sustainable Supply Chain Conference, returning to 30 Euston Square in London on 24 June 2025.
A sponsor of the conference, and with 14 years of experience and over 300 employees across several countries in Europe, Mer Fleet Services is on a mission to accelerate sustainable electric mobility. It is doing this by making EV charging easy and reliable for businesses and drivers. Together with its partners, it is rapidly growing its charging network for public, depot and workplace needs.
Natasha Fry joined Mer as the head of strategic accounts following Mer’s acquisition of Elmtronics in April 2022, bringing over 20 years’ experience of working with fleets. She is responsible for managing the relationships between Mer and some of the UK’s largest private sector organisations, including several FTSE 250 businesses.
Fry’s mission is to enable the transition of large EV fleets by ensuring that no stone is left unturned when EV charging infrastructure is critical to the operation. She is passionate about providing expertise and advice to businesses at every stage of their electrification journey.
Session title: Strategic planning for depot electrification
- How to plan for a long-term, cost effective and scalable fleet electrification strategy
- How to future-proof your EV infrastructure with scalable, cost-effective design and why ongoing maintenance and support are as critical as the charge points themselves
- The complexities and challenges IKEA overcame to electrify its sites for emission-free deliveries
The conference, which will be held at 30 Euston Square, is a one-day face-to-face event where delegates can hear directly from industry-leading speakers about how business sustainability can influence their bottom line.
Innovation will continue to drive supply chain sustainability in the years to come. At the Sustainable Supply Chain Conference, delegates will learn how to ‘go green’ throughout their end-to-end operations, discussing topics such as the decarbonisation of road freight transport, the importance of industry collaboration to meet sustainability goals and how sustainable practises can actually be used to drive sales. Overall, the conference will consider the environmental and human impact of products, from cradle to grave.
From raw materials sourcing, production, storage and delivery to every transportation link in-between, the journey is not easy – the complexity of many supplier relationships and border crossings makes supply chain sustainability extremely challenging. But the payback for getting it right is priceless, delivering on the three ‘P’s of the bottom line – people, profits and the planet.
Amongst the list of speakers already announced for the conference are representatives of organisations such as the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), NHS England and Bidfood, as well as sponsors of the conference Descartes, Wincanton, Springpack, Mer Fleet Services and Aurora Insights. Keep an eye out on the Logistics Manager website, as well as on Twitter and LinkedIn, for more information on the event’s speakers as the conference draws closer.
