Superior Wellness, which claims to be the world’s fastest-growing manufacturer of wellness products, has secured a £2.3 million logistics facility in the US to ‘accelerate its global expansion across the USA, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East’.
Based in Chesterfield in the UK’s East Midlands, Superior Wellness designs and manufacturers wellness products including hot tubs, swim spas, saunas and ice baths. Its brands include Platinum Spas, AquaSolus, HEKLA, and Chill Tubs.
It is hoped that opening a dedicated warehouse and logistics hub in Cameron, South Carolina will allow the firm to enhance the service it offers to over 100 partners in the US and Canada, while reducing reliance on third-party logistics companies.
The acquisition of the facility was backed by UK Export Finance (UKEF) and NatWest Bank.
The General Export Facility (GEF) is a UK government scheme which provides partial guarantees to banks to help UK exporters to gain access to trade finance facilities.
It is set to enable Superior Wellness to invest further in infrastructure, scale distribution and support working capital as it continues its international growth journey.

Superior Wellness has experienced rapid growth in recent years, with its turnover rising from £17.4m in the 2023 financial year to £27.7m in the 2024 financial year, and again to £39.4m in the 2025 financial year.
The business has set out from the beginning to become ‘the largest supplier of hot tubs, swim spas, saunas, and ice baths in the world’, with expanding into new territories throughout Europe and North America being an integral part of its strategy to achieve this goal.
Rob Carlin, managing director at Superior Wellness and Platinum Spas, said: “This facility is a key milestone in our journey to become the world leader in wellness products.
“UKEF and NatWest’s backing allows us to invest in our infrastructure and deliver an even better experience for our global partners and customers.
“We’re incredibly proud of the growth we’ve achieved, and even more excited for what’s ahead.”
Superior Wellness claims that over the past 12 months, UKEF’s support has enabled the creation of more than 20 new jobs across its Chesterfield headquarters and its South Carolina facility, bringing the firm’s total number of employees to over 140.
Manuel Fantin, export finance manager for Humberside and South and East Yorkshire at UK Export Finance, commented: “Superior Wellness is a great example of how UK businesses can thrive internationally with the right support behind them.
“The General Export Facility is designed to help companies like Superior Wellness tap into new markets, grow sustainably, and create jobs at home and abroad. It’s brilliant to be able to support an inspiring business that puts employee wellbeing and company culture at the heart of its success.”
