Glasgow University has taken a lease on new industrial warehouse space at Govan, close to its West End campus, while simultaneously surrendering the lease on its previous premises at Kingston Bridge. The university has taken a new ten-year lease, with a mutual break option at year five, on a 27,124 sq ft industrial warehouse at 38 Loanbank Quadrant, Govan, for £99,000 a year. The single-storey building has been leased from Turner & Co.

On the same day as leasing the Govan premises, the university agreed to surrender the lease on its warehouse premises at Stanley Street, Kingston Bridge, which the landlord is seeking to redevelop.
