Coty narrows it down

Crown recently completed its first UK order for the new TSP three-point turret order picker. Cosmetics giant Coty ordered three TSPs on a five-year contract hire deal, with a fourth on order for next year.

Coty has sales of $2.9 billion and its brands include Vivienne Westwood, Jennifer Lopez and Rimmel.

Crown reckons the TSP 6000 can lift higher and move faster than most competitors and works in the narrowest aisles – 1.45 metres. The main mast can be raised and lowered while the auxiliary mast raises, lowers, pivots or traverses as the truck is travelling and the auto-pivot function synchronises the traverse and pivot movements automatically to keep the pallet evenly centred between warehouse racks.

Crown’s MoveControl seat rotates through 110° allowing the operator to choose the optimum position for each task. Multi-task controls are located on cushioned, adjustable armrests which move with the seat for consistent operator orientation.

“We believe these will be a great improvement on the trucks we were previously using,” says Coty.
