Paul Venables is to replace Philip Cox on the Wincanton board as non-executive director and a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees, with effect from 2nd September.
Venables is currently group finance director of Hays, and has previously worked for DHL Supply Chain.
Before Exel was acquired by Deutsche Post, he was deputy group finance director and a member of Exel’s executive board.
He spent 13 years with Exel, during which he held a number of senior finance and operational roles including finance director of European and global operations.
