London City Bond has secured a three-year contract with Louis Latour Agencies to provide warehousing and distribution for the wine producer.
Cases of Louis Latour’s wines from Australia, France, New Zealand and South Africa will be stored at LCB’s Barking warehouse.
Bottles will then be picked to order for daily, just-in-time nationwide deliveries to the wine producer’s 500 on-trade and off-trade customers.
Dan Townsend, managing director of Louis Latour Agencies, said: “We are delighted to enter into a long-term partnership with London City Bond, who we believe have a complete solution to our logistics needs.”
Jeff Stanton, non-executive chairman of LCB, added: “LCB has enjoyed one of its most successful years, with turnover reaching close to £27 million and more than 50 new customers joining the team.
“Securing the Louis Latour contract is the latest signal that we are bucking the trend and continue to be the safest pair of hands in the wine and spirit logistics sector.”
LCB’s Barking-based warehouse stretches over 273,000 sq ft and is complete with 34 dock levellers, as well as state-of-the-art security systems.
