Woodland, the Essex-based forwarding and logistics group, has moved into new headquarters in Chelmsford and unveiled a new corporate identity.
The group has relocated from Coggeshall to larger premises in Chelmsford, offering 70,000 sq ft of warehousing space.
CMR Logistics, which provides UK distribution and warehousing services, has changed its identity to Woodland Logistics. New livery has been adopted and the company aims to have around 80 trucks sporting the new look by the summer.
Bookbridge, which offers specialist logistics services for the book industry, becomes a part of Woodland Media, which provides a full international logistics and transport solution for publishers and printers.
The remainder of Woodland’s international supply chain management, freight forwarding and customs clearance services come under the banner of Woodland Global, which provides services by air, sea and road.
In a separate development, Woodland Entertainment, which provides logistics solutions for the music, art, television and film industries, has opened a new office, in the city of London, offering greater communication links with its clients.
Kevin Stevens, Woodland’s chairman and chief executive officer, said: “As our businesses continue to grow, it is increasingly important to be clear about what, where and how Woodland serves its customers.”
