Packaging manufacturer Jiffy Packaging has chosen R G Bassett & Sons, the Stoke-on-Trent based haulier, to provide logistics support.
Bassett has acquired eight high-cube trailers for the contract which involves delivery of Jiffy products across the UK. Winsford-based Jiffy makes padded bags, foam, air bubble film, and air cushion technology for packaging void fill systems.
Jiffy managing director Alan Weston said: “In today’s highly competitive markets, we recognise that reliable delivery is every bit as important as the quality of the products supplied.
“The new logistics service will further raise the profile and underline the strength of the Jiffy brand, and demonstrate our commitment to providing both quality products and high levels of customer service.”
