Maxwell’s Bar & Grill has hired Box Technologies to supply a new point of sale system.
The gourmet burger restaurant had developed its own software, but wanted more advanced hardware to maintain customer service.
Based on Maxwell’s desire for a silent front of house solution, Box recommended a fanless EPoS system incorporating the Epson TM-T88V Thermal Printer.
For the kitchens, it recommended the Epson TM-U220 Impact Printer, specially designed for the kitchen environment. The system was based around the 4POS 400 Expander Integrated EPoS Terminal.
Luca Settimo, IT manager at Maxwell’s said: “We’re delighted with the unit’s overall build quality – the latest generation of the 4PoS Expander is exceptionally well designed… It’s much easier to use, because all parts are easy to access, it’s simple to change parts if needed.”
