Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe has extended the hire of a Spaciotempo temporary building.
The company originally specified the 10 x 20 x 5.2 metre, aluminium framed building on three month rental at its headquarters in the West Midlands, which acts as the centre for all aspects of the European business operation.
The structure was used for storage and workshop for the refurbishment of one of its customer’s telecommunications HGVs.
However, David Macready, operations planning and supply chain development manager, decided that the building could be put to further use protecting components from the recent bad weather and subsequently extended the terms.
When the next of Fujitsu’s five specialist HGVs requires refurbishment work, the building will revert to its original purpose.
Macready said: “We have specified Spaciotempo temporary structures before for storage purposes, so this deal was a natural evolution of the relationship when we had a new requirement.”
