Kerry Foods has selected GXS Managed Services to manage its B2B supply chain.
Kerry made the move to ease integration of new trading partners as it makes acquisitions.
Kerry’s customers include retailers like Tesco, Asda, J Sainsbury, Morrisons and Marks & Spencer which typically send final electronic order confirmations just a few hours before products are loaded onto trailers.
Peter Johnson, senior business analyst for Kerry Foods customer supply chain systems said: “GXS Managed Services allows us to farm out specific areas of technical expertise and effort and all the associated headaches to GXS.”
