Asda will use System Training to provide Driver Certificate of Professional Competence training for its 3,000 distribution drivers.
Asda has joined the System Training Driver CPC Consortium. As well as drivers, the training will also be provided for transport professionals in Asda’s supply chain including transport managers.
46 Asda driver training instructors will be trained over three months – two at each of Asda’s 23 regional distribution centres. They will be up-skilled, coached and mentored in the delivery of System Training’s CPC programmes.
Ongoing assessment and audit will be provided by System Training as the project is rolled out across the Asda distribution network.
