Bedfords Transport has invested in seven new vehicles to replace existing trucks in its fleet dedicated to delivery of The Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.
The Mail Newspapers has been a client of Bedfords since 1982. On average Bedfords makes 251 deliveries on behalf of The Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday, on 5,317 pallets.
Bedfords chief Steff Pfadenhauer said: “As a national network, we have trucks kept at depots across the country to ensure the deliveries for specific areas keep delivery time to a minimum. The new trucks will be based in Newcastle to support deliveries in the North East of England.”
