K+N extends Reich’s contract
Kuehne + Nagel has extended Dirk Reich’s contract as executive vice president contract logistics and road & rail logistics, until the end of 2014.
The board also voted to extend the contracts of chief executive Reinhard Lange until the end of 2013, and of chief financial officer Gerard van Kesteren until mid 2014.
Arvato hires Leigh-Brown
Outsourcing business Arvato, has appointed Chris Leigh-Browne as EMEA director of business development for supply chain solutions.
Leigh-Browne has previously held business development and international sales management positions at City Link (Rentokil), Target Express and TNT UK, brings 20 years’ of industry experience in supply chain solutions, reverse logistics, and distribution to the role.
TNT Express puts Power at head of India unit
TNT Express has appointed Gerry Power as managing director for India.
The new role is based in TNT India’s head office in Bangalore, and he will report to TNT Asia Pacific managing director Michael Drake
Power began his career with TNT Express in 1985 and has risen through the ranks over his 26 year career with the company. He has previously served as managing director of TNT Malaysia, in Vietnam & Indochina, and prior to that was operations director of Asia.
