A distributor of thermoplastic called Plastribution, has awarded its logistics services contract worth £750,000 to logistics company Stan Robinson.
The contract covers warehouse space for 2,500 pallets and 35-40 national palletised deliveries per day.
Stan Robinson has recently invested in Solarsoft’s WMS that uses bar code technology, to provide end to end batch traceability. The system has been integrated with the nationwide depot network and fleet of over 300 vehicles.
The new contract has also created six new positions at two of the company’s depots with the roles dedicated to fulfilling the Plastribution contract.
