CHEP has invested 2 million euros in redesigning its service centre in Tiel, the Netherlands, including new machinery for increased automation, efficiency.
The 323,000 sq ft facility employs more than 70 staff, and is the most
centralised CHEP service centre in The Netherlands. It is expected to handle the movement of at least 3.5 million pallets per year.
It will play a key role in the issue, return and reconditioning of pallets within the company’s Benelux pool.
