Chinese manufacturer Shandong Linuo Solar Power has contracted Yusen Logistics Benelux to provide a new operation for the storage and regional distribution of its solar power modules.
The European Distribution Centre for the operation is based at Yusen’s bonded warehouse near Rotterdam.
Yusen is also acting as Limited Fiscal Representative, to cut import-costs for Shandong Linuo.
Alex Okamoto, managing director of Yusen Logistics Europe, said: “The environmental equipment industry is one in which Yusen Logistics Europe is particularly strong. As solar power is an increasingly important part of the energy mix in Europe, it is also a hugely exciting growth area for us.”
