Advanced Supply Chain, the Bradford-based 3PL, has opened a warehouse in Corby, creating some 150 new jobs.
The warehouse brings the company’s total warehousing space to over 1 million sq ft. It is Advanced’s first facility outside of Yorkshire and is a key stage in its strategic expansion plans.
The company, which focuses on retail and apparel, reckons it is on course to increase its turnover from £20m to £30m over the next financial year.
Chief executive Mike Danby said: “It is always fantastic to open new premises, and Corby is particularly exciting because it is our first warehouse in the Midlands.”
Advanced works with retailers such as Makro, Matalan, George and Debenhams.
It recently entered a partnership with Chinese logistics company Sinotrans, to offer customers the end to end supply chain logistics.
