Pharmaceutical firm Actavis selected Agility Spain to transport 300 pallets of medicines from its production site in Malta to 15 European countries for its patent expiry product launches.
Actavis launches patent expiry products at a designated date and time, after a specified number of years from the original patent is granted to a drug, so timely delivery is critical.
Throughout 2011 Agility Spain delivered completed six pharmaceutical launches for Actavis across Europe.
