Matthias Fischer, who is currently managing director of Toyota Material Handling Deutschland, has been appointed president of Toyota Material Handling Europe.
He takes over from Håkan Dahllöf on 15th February. Fischer has served as managing director in Italy and later on as the Jungheinrich board member responsible for sales and marketing. Since April 2007 he has served as managing director of Toyota Material Handling Deutschland.
Dahllöf was one of the prime architects of the structure of the Toyota Material Handling Group. The group said that Toyota Material Handling Europe was now entering a new phase, whereby the company and Håkan Dahllöf had mutually agreed that it would be a natural step to go their separate ways.
