Tesco has awarded its mail contract to TNT Post, which covers up to 180 million items per year.
Under the deal, TNT Post delivers all of the grocery giant’s customer correspondence, including from Tesco Bank, as well as its ”Clubcard” scheme which alone sends out several mailings per year to more than 15 million households.[asset_ref id=”1512″]
Operations on the contract began in February.
TNT Post handles in excess of 3.5 billion items of mail a year, for firms such as Barclays, BT, Centrica, Lloyds TSB, npower, Sky and most recently EON.
TNT Post is wholly owned by the Dutch post office PostNL, and was not affected by the UPS buyout of TNT.
