The Food Storage and Distribution Federation is merging with Transfrigoroute UK, the temperature controlled transport organisation.
Transfrigoroute president John Clark and board member Graham Eames will join the FSDF executive board following the merger which takes place on 1st April.
Transfrigoroute UK will fit alongside the existing specialist committees covering technical and safety and business affairs to cover transport and logistics operational issues.
FSDF chief Chris Sturman said: “The merger of Transfrigoroute with the FSDF will provide our combined members with an unrivalled source of industry knowledge and expertise, networking opportunities and membership services to cover all aspects of temperature controlled storage and distribution.”
And Clark said: “I am delighted to have been involved in the bringing together of these two long established and respected organisations, which has effectively created a one-stop-shop for everyone involved in controlled temperature logistics, as well as offering added value to existing members of both associations.”
