Mars has taken an early lead in the Scala Fresh Connection Competition with an 15.63 per cent ROI lead after the first two day event.
Competing last week with Tesco Direct, General Mills and Kimberly-Clark, the confectioner managed to fight off tough opposition.
Tesco Direct and General Mills both put on a good show, with the former taking an early lead and the latter achieving a remarkable turnaround throughout the event. Kimberly-Clark held the top position throughout the majority of the 6 competition rounds, but was pipped at the post by the 2011 winners Mars.
The Fresh Connection team travel onto Birmingham, Farnborough, Manchester and Leeds until the end of May to deliver the 2 Day Competition Events.
