The Automated Material Handling Systems Association has appointed Peter Lerigo as president for a two year term.
Lerigo was previously the vice-president of the association. He is currently UK sales manager for AR Storage Solutions. He has previously served as business development manager for Dematic, and has worked for Stocklin, Travhydro, Yale UK, and Lex Harvey.
His first function in the role was at the “Future Material Handling” symposium, held at Silverstone earlier this month.
Lerigo said: “The 2012 symposium was a fantastic way to begin my presidency of AMHSA. As we emerge from the economic difficulties of the past few years, there is a real buzz about the potential of supply chain automation to secure the productivity improvements and cost efficiencies required by companies facing today’s demanding multi-channel environment.”
