Italian airport Milan Malpensa has appointed Yale dealers Bramieri and ORMIC as the preferred materials handling suppliers following a logistics operations review.
100 pieces of new Yale equipment are now in operation at the airport, ranging from pallet and reach trucks to three and four wheel counterbalance forklift trucks. This includes several vehicles equipped for operation in temperature controlled environments.
Some 170,000 tonnes of goods pass through the airport each year, and its customers include 70 airlines and more than 100 individual companies.
