Yale has developed mast-mounted LED driving lights for its counterbalance truck series to improve visibility in dark work areas – for example ISO containers or block stacking applications.
The LED lights are automatically activated with the front-marker lights. They provide high light output and the proximity to the outer mast cross member is designed to reduce susceptibility to damage.
Brand manager Steve Ridgway said: “In most cases, lights are fitted to the overhead guard however, feedback from operators has confirmed that the mast can often obscure light and restrict illumination when mounted in this position.
“Recent advances in lighting have allowed us to introduce the latest LED lights on the mast providing operators with significantly improved forward illumination and the elimination of the majority of mast shadow.”
