Toyota Material Handling Europe has agreed the acquisition of Dambach Lagersysteme’s Very Narrow Aisle forklift business.
Dambach has supplied a number of VNA truck models to Toyota over the past decade. The new deal will see the company’s BT brand VNA trucks moved from production in Bischweier, Germany, to Toyota’s factory in Mjölby, Sweden.
“Dambach has made the strategic decision to focus on its core stacker crane business and Toyota Material Handling will integrate the Dambach range into the existing VNA range produced in our factory in Mjölby, said Mike Mathias, managing director for Toyota Material Handling UK.
