Seafield goes for sales

Seafield Logistics has stepped up its marketing and sales drive with the appointment of Mark Hansard as head of sales.
Hansard’s experience includes seven years with Bibby Distribution and six years at Exel working on key accounts, two years at Danzas and four years with Federal Express.
Seafield has spent the past year rolling out a marketing strategy which has included implementing a Customer Account Management system, improving the effective use of IT in customer service delivery and raising brand awareness.
Hansard has the task of bringing in new contract business and pushing sales up to œ100m within the next five years.
Managing Director Mark Strong says, “This is a key appointment for us and I see Mark’s role being integral to the success of the company moving forward”.
