The surge in consumer demand for organic fruit and vegetables has led to London based Abel & Cole expanding its UK delivery fleet with 37 new Iveco Daily 35S panel vans in the past nine months, all with Polar refrigerated van conversions from Trumac.
Transport manager Paul Greenway said: “During last year, we made the decision to switch over our future fleet acquisitions to the Iveco chassis with the Trumac/Polar van conversion. Some 23 of the vans have been delivered so far with the remaining 14 in build currently. All 37 vehicles are high roof Iveco 35S Daily vans, to Euro 4 specification, and feature a single compartment Trumac refrigerated van conversion.
