Richard Turner, retiring chief executive of the Freight Transport Association, has been awarded an OBE for services to transport in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for 2007. Turner joined FTA in 1973 becoming chief executive in 2001.
Philip Brown has joined NYK as business unit director, where he’ll be responsible for the company’s international business, primarily in the retail and healthcare sectors.
