Polish online marketplace and e-commerce provider Allegro will occupy a 27,000m² (290,000ft²) distribution centre in Piotrków south of the city of Lodz.
The park is being developed by Polish Logistics LLP (PLL), with cornerstone investor Grosvenor DPI, and manager REINO IO Logistics.
REINO is a joint venture between UK-based industrial and logistics specialist Caisson iO and Poland-based REINO Partners.
The facility’s new cross-dock facility at Piotrków contains sorting automation, 144 linear docks, a 12-meter column-free structure plus photovoltaic power and a hybrid heating system.
The project is designed to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification and has been approved by the lender (BNP) as a green loan.
In addition to the 42-hectare (103-acre) Piotrków project, the PLL JV owns logistics complexes in six cities across Poland with a combined area of over 350,000m² (3.7mft²) and a total value of more than €260m (£225m).
CEO of Grosvenor DPI, Chris Taite, said: “This is an exciting milestone for Polish Logistics LLP and a testament to what strong partnerships can achieve.
“It’s great to see REINO IO Logistics driving forward the delivery of sustainable, best-in-class logistics space across Poland”.
