The Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham saw a host of new truck launches as manufacturers updated their product ranges to meet the Euro 4 environmental legislation that comes into force in October.

HFT Forklifts has won a £1.6m contract to supply the forklift fleet for Larchlap, a UK manufacturer of garden fence panels. The 78 vehicle fleet is expected to be operational at Larchlap’s four depots in England, Scotland and Wales by June.

Renault has updated its range of distribution vehicles with new versions of the Midlum and Premium with new cabs, chassis and powertrains. The Midlum range runs from 7.5 to 18 tonnes which the Premium Distribution runs from 16 to 26 tonnes.
