Third-party logistics specialist Bleckmann has signed a lease for a 761,000ft² distribution centre at Magna Park North Lutterworth, marking a major expansion of its UK footprint.
The agreement with Marq Logistics (formerly GLP Europe) sees Bleckmann take occupancy of MPN 761, a state-of-the-art warehouse that is BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and EPC ‘A+’ certified.
The site is expected to be fully operational by July 2026 and will play a central role in supporting Bleckmann’s growing fashion and lifestyle logistics operations.
Strategically located with direct access to the M1, M6 and M69, the facility is designed for high-volume, multi-client distribution. It features 80 dock doors, 10 level access doors, 94 HGV parking spaces and more than 500 car parking spaces, alongside EV charging infrastructure to support lower-emission operations.
The building also features solar PV, battery storage, energy-efficient systems and enhanced natural lighting.
The new site becomes one of the largest in Bleckmann’s UK network and its fourth facility with Marq Logistics. The 3PL currently has additional sites in Lutterworth as well as facilities in Swindon, Bury St Edmunds, Burton-on-Trent, Crick and Corby.
Bleckmann said investment in the new distribution centre will strengthen its ability to support fashion and lifestyle brands with scalable, end-to-end supply chain solutions, including fulfilment, returns and omnichannel distribution. The additional capacity will also help customers navigate cross-border complexity and improve service levels in the UK market.
Mark van Onna, global real estate director at Bleckmann, said that new Lutterworth DC represents “another milestone” in the company’s ongoing sustainable expansion of the UK network.
Bruce Topley, UK managing director at Marq Logistics, said the deal highlights continued demand for logistics space in key locations. “This transaction reflects sustained occupier demand for high-quality, sustainable buildings in strategic locations that can help customers improve efficiency, support growth and serve their end markets more effectively.”
The real estate developer and operator appointed Winvic Construction to build MPN 761, a 761,000ft² speculatively developed facility in August 2024.
