CEVA Logistics has expanded its UK fleet with the introduction of 165 new DAF trucks, increasing capacity while supporting its decarbonisation strategy.
The investment strengthens CEVA’s transport network across the UK, enabling the company to meet growing demand for reliable services while improving operational resilience and efficiency.
The new UK fleet will operate predominantly on hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), which CEVA says can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 90% compared with conventional diesel.
The rollout means the 3PL’s UK ground and rail network is now fully powered by HVO, forming part of its wider FORPLANET sustainability programme with the long-term goal of reaching net zero by 2050.
In addition to lower-emission fuel, the vehicles are equipped with telematics systems that improve route optimisation, enhances operational visibility and support driver wellbeing.
The fleet was introduced in partnership with Ford & Slater and leasing provider TIP Group.
Paul Farr, vice president, Ground & Rail Europe, CEVA Logistics, said: “By investing in a modern, lower-emission fleet supported by advanced digital technology, we are strengthening the reliability, quality and sustainability of our UK operations.”
CEVA Logistics, which is part of the CMA CGM Group, had revenues of US$18.3bn (£13.6bn ) in 2025.
