Nippon Express Logistics, a group company of Nippon Express Holdings, has upgraded the logistics systems at Don Mueang Airport location in Thailand.
Don Mueang Airport offers domestic and international routes primarily served by low-cost carriers (LCCs).
With development moving forward on the Thai government’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) project, the airport is expecting further growth as a major air gateway alongside Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Relatively low congestion at the cargo terminal and smooth cargo drop-off and pickup processes enable high-speed transportation and operations.
The recent system improvements allow import and export operations to be completed entirely at NX Logistics Thailand’s Don Mueang Airport location.
Cargo arriving late at night can now be delivered to destinations in Bangkok and environs by the following morning, helping shorten lead times vis-à-vis conventional routes.
Additionally, Nippon Express Logistics stated that this approach mitigates the risk of congestion delays and enables transport plans to be carried out more reliably.
