EuShipments.com has acquired 100% of Slovakian fulfilment provider FHB Group to improve technology-based fulfilment in Slovakia.
FHB Group is a major fulfillment provider in Slovakia and the region, offering eCommerce logistics solutions – storage & order fulfillment, cross-border delivery, returns management and COD solution.
The 70% Austrian Post-owned euShipments.com acquired two facilities near Bratislava – Svätý Jur and Triblavina, with a total area of around 50,000m² (c. 538,195ft²) with automated packaging lines, sorting systems and conveyor technology, as part of the deal.

Reportedly, the Svätý Jur facility offers approximately 27,000m² (c. 290,625ft²) of warehouse and office space, and combines storage capacity with highly automated packaging and sorting operations.
The facility has a capacity of up to 155,000 Euro-boxes or 310,000 low boxes with 2,000 pallet locations and 900 metres of conveyor systems.
Automated packaging and sorting equipment, including a Priority Pack solution and an extended Gurki DWS sorter.
“Together with the two new sites near Bratislava, euShipments.com will in future operate twelve of its own fulfillment centres and a network spanning over 27 countries,” said Austrian Post deputy CEO and member of the executive board Peter Umundum.
“This will enable us to provide even more comprehensive support to online retailers in their international expansion, whilst at the same time strengthening the role of Austrian Post AG as a fast-growing European logistics and eCommerce group.”
