Indurent has announced that the final phase of construction of Indurent Park Longbridge has commenced.
The c.340,000ft² scheme is being delivered on the former MG Rover car manufacturing site, once home to the production of iconic British vehicles including the Mini and the Austin 7.
Following planning approval in late 2025, Indurent appointed contractors in early 2026 to deliver 13 high‑quality multi-let industrial and logistics units, complete with modern ancillary office space.
Additionally, £30m of investment will seek to deliver modern industrial employment space to support jobs, skills development and long-term economic growth.
Reportedly, once complete, the scheme will create 590 full-time jobs, as well as 280 roles during construction, and local opportunities for training and skills.
West Midlands mayor, Richard Parker, said: “This development is another milestone in the regeneration of this once iconic site and will continue its proud industrial heritage while creating good quality jobs for the people of Longbridge and beyond.
“This land stood derelict for too many years following the collapse of Rover, but now, thanks to investment from Indurent and others, it is being brought back to life with hundreds of new homes and workspaces for the benefit of the local community.”
