Packaging specialist Orkka, formed by the merger of Hazel 4D, Kwikpac and Acopia Group’s Transit Packaging Division, has unveiled its new offerings at IntraLogisteX.
Formed earlier in March, Orkka brings together more than 120 years of experience across consultancy, machinery systems, consumables and operational support.
The new organisation aims to give enterprise and industrial customers globally more joined-up packaging support.
Neil Christie is CEO of Orkka, bringing extensive experience in strategic growth and operational transformation.
Speaking during the opening session in the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition Theatre on Wednesday 18 March Christie introduced the organisation and shared some insight into the main challenges facing the sector.
Christie noted that the packaging market has typicallly been highly commoditised and driven by price rather than strategic value, but that sustainability is now becoming a “business essentiality that’s being embraced by C-suite and boardrooms globally”
IntraLogisteX takes place at the NEC Birmingham on 18-19 March, co-located with Robotics and Automation, The Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition and Fulfilment & Last Mile Expo.
Orkka is exhibiting on Stand 400. Visit to meet the new leadership team, explore integrated consultancy, systems and machinery capability and discuss how a coordinated approach can strengthen operational performance.
