Consumer goods company Procter & Gamble (P&G) has signed a lease agreement with CTP for a new, 37,000m2 (c. 398,000ft2) logistics and production facility at CTPark Prague North.
Construction of the facility is now underway, with handover scheduled for September 2026. Operations are expected to begin in 2027.
P&G has its headquarters in Prague and operates the Rakona production plant in Rakovník, around 60km west of the Czech capital. The new facility will support P&G’s long-term growth by expanding its logistics capabilities to European markets.
“CTPark Prague North offers a strategic location for stocking from our European plants and, at the same time, efficient distribution within the Czech Republic and beyond,” said Angelique Terrien, Europe logistics vice president at Procter & Gamble.
Known as the ‘Artemis project’, the new Czech logistics facility will also enable teams to work with AI and new digital tools “creating more interesting, more valuable jobs for the future,” Terrien added.
The project, which is targeting BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification, has been designed with the highest technical, safety and environmental standards.
CTP said it collaborated with the Czech Technical University on advanced fire-spread simulations to optimise safety and ensure the smooth operation of the automated warehouse.
“Strong partnerships are the foundation of every successful project. At CTP, we combine long-term relationships, local expertise and our ability to design highly complex, tailor-made solutions with strategic locations for global businesses,” said Jakub Kodr, managing director at CTP in the Czech Republic.
CTPark Prague North is located 25km from Prague airport and 125km from Dreseden, Germany, putting 60 million people and key markets like Germany and Austria, within a five-hour drive.
