Hermes Logistics Technologies (HTL) will deliver the software to support operations at Cargo Terminal No.1 of Long Thanh International Airport (LTIA) in Vietnam.
The terminal, funded by Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), is due for completion in late 2026 and will position LTIA as a major new cargo hub in South East Asia.
Following a competitive tender process, Vietnam-based Aviation Products and Maintenance (AVPM) was appointed to deliver technology and systems for the terminal. The company has selected HTL as its cargo software partner.
Under the deal, HLT will provide a full ecosystem of cloud-based, software-as-a-service systems to support core cargo operations. Capabilities will include business intelligence, track and trace, API integrations and landside management. Learning management system will also provide visibility and connectivity between airlines, ground handlers and cargo partners.
Hoang Van Giai, deputy director at AVPM, said the systems “will play an important role in delivering a modern, efficient and future-ready cargo operation at LTIA”.
Yuval Baruch, CEO of Hermes Logistics Technologies added: “Long Thanh International Airport is a landmark project for Vietnam’s aviation sector and we are proud to be working with AVPM to support the development of its cargo operations.”
The Cargo Terminal No.1 project at LTIA expands HLT’s operations in Vietnam, adding a large-scale greenfield cargo implementation to its existing customer footprint.
