The shortlist for the 2026 Supply Chain Excellence Awards USA has been announced, following a year of significant growth for the program.
Entries have more than doubled year over year, rising by 106% and the number of companies involved has also increased by 102%.
This year’s shortlist spans 21 categories, up from 17 in 2025, reflecting the expanding scale and scope of the awards as they continue to build momentum in the United States.
The 2026 program also demonstrates strong geographic reach, with shortlisted projects and participating organizations representing 18 countries and 30 US states.
Texas, where the awards will take place this September, is strongly represented, with 57% of entries having a presence in the state, reinforcing Texas’ importance as a major logistics and supply chain hub.
Now in its 30th year globally and its third year in the United States, the Supply Chain Excellence Awards USA recognizes companies, partnerships and projects setting new standards in supply chain performance, logistics, warehousing, automation, digital transformation, resilience, sustainability and operational innovation.
John Thornton, editor-in-chief of Logistics Manager, said: “Three years ago this was a new launch. Today we have companies from 18 countries, 30 US states and more than 150 organisations represented across the program. The growth has exceeded our expectations and demonstrates the strength of the US supply chain sector and its appetite for recognising excellence.
“The strong Texas presence is also highly significant. With the awards taking place in Dallas as part of Dallas Logistics Week, this year’s program is not only recognizing supply chain excellence nationally and internationally, but also reinforcing Texas’s role as one of the most important logistics and supply chain markets in North America.”
Entries span some of the most important priorities shaping US supply chain strategy today, including warehouse transformation, AI-enabled planning, robotics, last-mile performance, freight optimization, visibility, digital transformation, healthcare logistics, retail and e-commerce fulfillment, food and beverage supply chains, manufacturing, sustainability and resilience.
Adding further weight to the program, the independent judging panel brings together experienced practitioners across procurement, operations, technology, last-mile delivery, global supply chains, track and trace, warehouse systems, digital commerce, consumer goods, grocery, transportation and sports.
Shortlisted entrants will now progress to judging sessions in July, where they will present their projects to the independent judging panel. Winners will then be revealed during a major industry celebration and networking evening at Union Station Dallas on September 15, 2026.
Featuring more than 150 participating companies across entrants and judges, the Supply Chain Excellence Awards USA will form part of Dallas Logistics Week, a three-day platform connecting senior supply chain, logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, manufacturing and automation professionals in one of North America’s most important logistics markets.
The awards will take place the evening before IntraLogisteX Dallas opens at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center on September 16-17, 2026, creating a focused industry gathering around the companies, technologies, partners and ideas shaping the next phase of supply chain transformation.
