Watch this free webinar with Ocado Intelligent Automation and Logistics Manager, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at automation in action, taking place online at 2:00pm (BST) on 26 June 2025.
In this exclusive webinar, Logistics Manager is joined by Ocado Intelligent Automation (OIA) and its client Performance Health to unveil how one retailer is reshaping its warehouse operations with cutting-edge mobile robotics.
Viewers will hear firsthand from the team who lived the before-and-after of warehouse automation. From stress on the floor to streamlined fulfilment, this will be an honest, practical look at automation that’s working right now, and the measurable impact it’s having.
During the session, expert speakers from Ocado Intelligent Automation and Performance Health will cover:
- What drove Performance Health to seek automation in the first place
- How perfect-size packaging and in-aisle optimisation work together to eliminate
waste, reduce footsteps and drive major productivity improvements - The realities of deploying mobile robots (OMRS): timelines, training, and what
implementation and results really looks like - How Performance Health is flexing capacity with no major CapEx, no floor changes,
and preparing for peak seasons or new sites without hiring more staff
Speakers:
Jeff Larson, director of solutions, Ocado Intelligent Automation
When fulfilment needs to run faster, smarter and more reliably, Jeff Larson is the go-to expert. Having spent over 15 years pioneering robotics, AI and intelligent fulfilment strategies, he has transformed warehouses into high-speed, error-proof operations.

His work earned him the Ocado Group’s 2024 Corporate Value Award for Aligned Autonomy. He is also named as an inventor on a patent for Dynamic Routing of Autonomous Vehicles, an intuitive solution pairing handheld devices with mobile robots.
Ryan Hetzler, director of operations, Performance Health
With over 15 years of experience leading logistics and supply chain operations across some of the most demanding industries, Ryan Hetzler brings deep, hands-on insight into warehouse transformation. As director of operations at Performance Health, he has played a key role in driving the company’s shift from traditional fulfilment to a highly-optimised, automation-powered operation.
Hetzler’s career includes leadership roles at CNH Industrial, CEVA Logistics and Coca-Cola, where he built a reputation for delivering measurable improvements in productivity, cost efficiency and team performance.
At Performance Health, he has overseen the deployment of mobile robotics at scale, helping to eliminate waste, reduce travel time on the floor and increase throughput, all without the need for heavy capital investment or major infrastructure changes.
Hetzler will be sharing candid, first-hand perspectives on the realities of deploying AMRs in a live, high-volume environment. From challenges to wins to lessons learned, his experience offers a rare inside look for anyone considering automation or looking to scale it further.
