Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is expanding its specialised e-commerce and freight forwarding services in Denmark through a nationwide partnership with JetPak.
“This collaboration brings together two industry specialists and gives our customers combined access to WFS’ air cargo handling and security screening expertise alongside JetPak’s time-critical road and air logistics solutions,” said Inge Briand de Crevecoeur, WFS’ managing director in Denmark.
JetPak, which operates same-day courier services throughout the Nordics and Europe, also signed a six-year contract for dedicated warehouse capacity in WFS’ new e-commerce & freight forwarder handling (EFFH) facility, which opened in July at Copenhagen Airport.
Located adjacent to the air freight area, JetPak said the new facility will “ensure a more direct and efficient process from pickup to departure, and from arrival to final delivery”.
It also offers more space and improves handling times for shipment pick-ups and deliveries.
At the site WFS operates more than 21,500m² (231,000ft2) of facilities at Copenhagen Airport, including a temperature-controlled pharma facility and its EFFH building.
