Leaders from across the logistics and supply chain community gathered in London last night (6 November) to celebrate achievement, innovation and excellence at the 29th Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
Staged in the Great Room at Grosvenor House – London’s largest ballroom – the ceremony was hosted by comedian Holly Walsh and showcased the best work from retail, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and operations.
In all, 26 category winners were crowned from more than 220 entries, with three further projects highly commended by an independent panel of industry judges.
Organised by Akabo Media, publisher of Logistics Manager, the Supply Chain Excellence Awards have set the benchmark for nearly three decades, recognising teams and projects that deliver measurable, repeatable improvements across global supply chains.
“This year’s finalists have not just coped with change – they’ve converted it into competitive advantage,” said John Thornton, editor-in-chief of Logistics Manager.
“You can see it in fewer empty miles, shorter lead times, higher accuracy, safer operations and lower energy per order – all while keeping people, inclusion and safety front and centre.”
The 2025 awards were supported by category partners Allwood Recycling Solutions, Aurora Insights, DSV, Kite Packaging, Konica Minolta, Logistex, Logistics Reply, MLR Networks, Peak Technologies and SAP.
“Our judging panel is one of this programme’s great strengths,” Thornton added. “Some 30 leaders from brand owners, retailers, manufacturers, operators, academia and the third sector brought rigorous, real-world scrutiny to every entry – ensuring that excellence recognised here is excellence in the round.”
