Pall-Ex owner and chief executive Hilary Devey is to star in next week’s episode of the Channel 4 television series The Secret Millionaire.
The show is now in its third series and sees millionaires go undercover in deprived areas, living alongside locals to discover individuals and projects they think deserve funding.
Devey, originally from Bolton, left her job and sold her house and car to raise enough money to set up Pall-Ex 12 years ago. The company now operates from two hubs in Leicestershire and Carlisle, and has more than 100 depot locations nationwide.
The programme will be aired at 9pm on Tuesday 9th September and will see Devey returning to the North West to go undercover as a barmaid in Rochdale. Once there she discovers a local community centre that is in dire need of funding, as well as a music project aimed keeping kids of the street.
