ASOS.com has launched a same day delivery service to customers using CitySprint and MetaPack.
The online fashion retailer will be offering the service for deliveries within and on the outskirts of the M25, within a 50-mile radius of its Hemel Hempstead warehouse.
Stuart Hill, head of customer logistics at ASOS.com, said: “Over the last six months we have looked at enhancing our delivery options and going that extra mile for our customers.
“Our warehouse in Hemel Hempstead gives us perfect access to London and the M25 region and we wanted to utilise its location to offer a same day delivery service to our customers in the London area.”
CitySprint has a national network of more than 30 service centres and is able to offer a same day service to the majority of the UK, but ASOS.com is restricted to offering deliveries in this specific location owing to the location of its warehouse.
The service also relies on MetaPack’s technology and the development of CitySprints own system to ensure it configures with ASOS.com and MetaPack.
