RH sets out aggressive growth plan

RH Group is expanding its sales force by 30 per cent across the UK this year. It intends to drive the business forward by expanding its customer base through an aggressive sales strategy.

In particular, it is adding new freight account managers to 14 of its 16 local branches across the UK. Freight account managers source new customers and manage existing consignments via an integrated £2m bespoke IT system.

Commercial director Peter Isler said: “We believe demand remains for cost-effective, quality logistics solutions sold through our local branches. Our plans are based on current revenues and costs and thus do not depend on an economic recovery which is uncertain anyway.”
